Groupffice utilises some of the most advanced technology for Internet security available today. When you access our site,you can use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to protect your username and password information using both server authentication and data encryption, ensuring that your data is safe, secure, and available only to registered users in your organisation.

Groupffice provides each user in your organisation with a unique user name and password that must be entered each time a User logs on. Groupffice issues a session "cookie" only to record encrypted authentication information for the duration of a specific session. The session "cookie" does not include either the username or password of the user.

In addition, Groupffice is hosted in a secure server environment that uses full hardware firewalling with packet-inspection, virus guard and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Moreover, Groupffice’s data centre is held in a dedicated, secure hosting environment with 24-hour CCTV and security.

Groupffice's fileservers use RAID technology to minimise the risk of file loss. In addition, all data is backed up on a daily rotation to our off-site backup servers.
